Apple’s radical new Macbook suddenly takes shape. At least, in the minds of accessory company Luna Display. For now, the vision for a foldable Apple product is merely a concept design. The screen real estate doubles by using a foldable display, which is attractive in certain use cases. But it remains the question if replacing a physical keyboard with a virtual one, is something most Macbook users really want.
A foldable iPhone is something with a higher probability of making it on the Apple roadmap for the future. Foldable News commissioned designer Roy Gilsing to draw the dream of an iPhone X Fold recently. It drew massive interest from around the world.
Apple hasn’t announced any plans yet to step into the foldable display game. Industry analysts expect the Cupertino company to announce something in 2020 earliest. The problems Samsung is facing with the introduction of their Galaxy Fold certainly doesn’t encourage Apple to rush to market.
