Energizer is most known for their batteries and flashlights, but they also bring a line of branded Chinese OEM-phones to market. Today they’ve announced that they will show a foldable smartphone during the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month.
No further details about the phone are known. The device is part of a series of 26 new models that Energizer will introduce. One of the other highlights is a phone with a 28.000 mAh battery, the largest capacity in the world. It will give the user roughly a week’s use on a single charge.
Not all phones that Energizer announce during MWC will reach shops. Last year for example they announced an Android smartphone with a 16,000mAh battery, called the ‘Power Max P16K Pro’. However, it was later cancelled and never made it to the market. We’ll have to wait and see if the foldable phone will see the daylight as a real, commercially available device.
