Chinese electronics brand TCL is working on a foldable smartphone that bends into a bracelet. Cnet reports that images of the device and patent applications were leaked to them. The company, best known for its televisions, plans a series of at least 5 foldable products.
TCL owns the famous Blackberry brand and is also owner of former French mobile company Alcatel. It’s not clear under what moniker the foldable devices would be brought to market. The devices are planned for a 2020 release. Alongside the bracelet, a folding tablet and smartphone is said to be planned.
